[PAS] Pavlo's Arts Studio is a hobby project which was established back in 2003 by myself. I make movies both in 3D Studio Max or as it calls in short - 3ds Max and also in Adobe Premiere Pro and not to forget Adobe After Effects. 3ds Max studio uses by both game-maker companies like Electronic Arts (EA), Lucas Arts, and Hollywood film studios like Columbia Pictures, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), 20 Century Fox and many more. 3ds Max is familiar with another 3D studio called Maya. Maya is very well known in Hollywood. Following movies are made in Maya: -Rotattuille -Over The Hedge -Incredibles -Shrek -Flushed Away -Cars There are several big movies that have used Maya to make special effects, for example Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars. The difference between Maya and 3d Max that Maya was designed for making high quallity movies and special effects, while 3d Max was perfect for gaming industry. It does not mean that you cannot use 3ds max for making movies. There are lots of movies that have used 3d Max to create special effects such as Armageddon (with Bruce Willis)....and of course many of my movies were also made in 3ds Max.
